Lineage Purple Kush x White Russian strain

Purple Kush x White Russian is an indica-dominant strain, 70% Indica / 30% Sativa, delivering a powerful mind and body stone that lets the mind drift on a lucid, dreamy journey. It carries a berry, citrus, earthy and sweet flavor over a strong indica body high.

With a THC of 17% to 23%, it is a great choice for anyone after a strong, relaxing experience.

Origin

Purple Kush x White Russian is a masterful creation by the genetic experts at Blimburn Seeds, an indica-dominant hybrid with a rich lineage from two iconic strains.

The pure indica Purple Kush descends from the legendary Hindu Kush and Purple Afghani landraces, celebrated for its resin-coated purple buds and robust flavors. White Russian is a stable cross of the coveted White Widow and AK-47, with dense, resinous buds and a famously pungent aroma of lemon, incense and exotic wood.

That blend gives Purple Kush x White Russian cannabis seeds exceptional genetics. Growers can expect vigorous plants with heavy yields, combining the best of both parents.

Purple Kush x White Russian Sativa or Indica?

Purple Kush x White Russian is an indica-dominant strain, 70% Indica / 30% Sativa, with the characteristic traits of indica varieties: relaxing body effects ideal for evening use or deep relaxation, with a gentle happy lift from the sativa side.

Its genetics stem from two prominent indica-heavy lineages, for a consistent, robust experience. For growers, Purple Kush x White Russian seeds produce plants with compact structures, well suited to indoor cultivation.

Purple Kush x White Russian Effects

Purple Kush x White Russian delivers a deeply soothing experience. Its effects are predominantly happy and relaxed, a calming body sensation ideal for unwinding after a long day, with a gentle lift that keeps the mood bright as stress melts away.

The combination of genetics makes for a potent effect profile, with influences from both Purple Kush and White Russian. Many also turn to it for support with muscle tension, stress and tiredness. Effects vary from person to person.

Germinating Purple Kush x White Russian seeds

It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.

Before removing ourĀ Purple Kush x White RussianĀ seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.

Set Up Your Germination Station:Ā Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.

Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil.

Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.

Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ĀŗF – 78.8 ĀŗF (21 ĀŗC – 26 ĀŗC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.

Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines.

Please do not useĀ alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.

Purple Kush x White Russian Flowering Time

Purple Kush x White Russian flowers within 8 to 10 weeks, a relatively quick option that suits beginner and experienced cultivators after reliable yields.

The plants develop dense, resin-rich buds with vibrant purple hues reminiscent of Purple Kush. Those genetics make for a robust, rewarding harvest, indoors or outdoors under favorable conditions.

How to grow Purple Kush x White Russian strain?

Purple Kush x White Russian seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions. The plants are compact, robust and moderately easy to grow, though it is always worth guarding against pests. A few methods help retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your buds:

  • Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
  • In our customers’ experience, good technique can increase yields by up to 20%.

For indoor cultivation, we advise wide, vertical spaces and the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform canopy and build up the lower flowers. Feed quality nutrients through the seedling, vegetative and flowering stages. Outdoors, choose a spot with the most direct sunlight; indoors, set up good tents, fabric pots, LED lighting, an air extractor and a carbon filter.

Keep daytime temperatures between 68 and 80 ℉, and night temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day. These plants prefer low humidity: 55 to 60% in the vegetative phase, around 40% in flowering, and down to 30% by harvest.

Outdoors in the northern hemisphere, sow in April for a harvest in mid-October, at about 12.35 oz per plant (350 g). Indoors, the cycle runs 8 to 10 weeks with yields of 1.15 to 1.64 oz/ft² (350 to 500 g/m²).

Ideal Climate for Growing

Purple Kush x White Russian flourishes in a warm, temperate climate with long, sunny days and mild nights. The ideal range is 70 to 80 ℉ (21 to 27 ā„ƒ), which promotes vigorous growth and maximizes yield. The hybrid is resilient and adapts to various altitudes, though it thrives best at lower elevations with abundant sunlight, and a balanced climate with low humidity is key to preventing mold.

In the United States, optimal states include California, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada and Florida, with the ample sunshine and warm temperatures the strain needs.

Grown in these conditions, Purple Kush x White Russian feminized seeds produce lush buds that showcase the best of this unique hybrid.

What does the strain smell like?

The buds of Purple Kush x White Russian are rock-hard, soaked in resin and often carry a crystalline sheen from the sheer amount of trichomes. On the palate it blends sweet berry and bright citrus with an earthy base, the berry notes coming from its Purple Kush side and the lemony lift from White Russian.

Purple Kush x White Russian makes for a smooth, soft smoke and a strong, relaxing experience. Thanks to its heavy resin production, it is also an ideal strain for high-quality extracts and concentrates that capture its sweet berry-citrus profile.

Purple Kush x White Russian terpenes

Purple Kush x White Russian carries a broad twelve-terpene profile that shapes both its berry-citrus aroma and its deeply relaxing effect, with four terpenes doing most of the work.

Myrcene leads the profile with a deep, earthy-musky note that drives the earthy side of the flavor. It is the terpene most associated with relaxing, sedative effects, providing the heavy indica body feel and underpinning the strain’s use for muscle tension and winding down.

Caryophyllene brings a warm, peppery spice and is the one terpene that interacts with the body’s CB2 receptors. Widely associated with calming, anti-inflammatory properties, it sits behind the strain’s use for easing stress and muscle spasms, backed by Humulene.

Humulene adds a dry, woody-hoppy depth that rounds out the earthy base and, alongside Caryophyllene, reinforces the soothing, anti-inflammatory side for stress and physical tension.

Citral contributes a bright, lemony-citrus lift that accounts for much of the citrus flavor and keeps the heavy body feel from turning dull, adding a fresh top note to the relaxing experience.

Rounding out this large profile, Alpha-Pinene adds a fresh pine lift, Alpha-Cedrene and Cadinene a cedar-wood note, Borneol and Camphene a cool camphor edge, Eugenol a clove-like spice, Fenchol an earthy-pine touch, and Farnesene a soft green sweetness, while the signature sweet berry note comes largely from the Purple Kush side of the family.
