With a Medium THC of 18% to 20%, it is a great choice for anyone after a happy, relaxed and sociable experience.
Origin
Wombat comes from top-tier European genetics, a cross between Original Haze and Critical that blends two powerful strains into a unique feminized photoperiod variety.
With genetics that include Skunk #1, Afghani and Super Silver Haze, it delivers a potent mix of characteristics. Wombat seeds produce a resilient plant with a reasonable flowering time, exceptional potency and high-quality buds, a favorite among growers.

Germinating Wombat Seeds
It is important to germinate your Wombat seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, from Blimburn Seeds we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.
Before removing our Wombat seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. The PH of our hands full of bacteria can easily infect them and ruin our germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil.
Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.
Wombat Seeds Flowering Time
Thanks to its Original Haze x Critical genetics, Wombat has a reasonable flowering time of 8 to 10 weeks, allowing for a timely, efficient cultivation process.
As it comes into flower, growers can expect robust growth and a bountiful yield that reflects the careful selection and breeding behind this strain. It pairs resilience with flavor and holds up well across a range of conditions.
How To Grow Wombat strain?
Wombat seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, which helps avoid problems during their development. The plants are robust, moderately easy to grow and hardy, though it is always worth guarding against pests.
A few methods help retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Feminized Wombat buds:
- Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
- In our customers’ experience with Feminized Wombat seeds, good technique can increase yields by up to 20%.
For optimal indoor cultivation, Blimburn Seeds advises wide, vertical spaces and the ScrOG method to build a uniform canopy and increase the size of the lower flowers. If you plan to grow our Feminized seeds outdoors, we have developed a grow guide for optimal cultivation in any part of the world.
Our plants need good nutrients at every stage, from seedling through the vegetative and flowering periods. When growing outdoors, choose the best date for your crop and a spot where the plants get the most hours of sunshine. Indoors, set up good tents, fabric pots, LED lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air and a quality carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law. Keep daytime temperatures between 68 and 80 ℉, and night temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day.
Feminized plants thrive in low humidity: keep RH at 55 to 60% during the vegetative phase, reduce it to around 40% in flowering, and down to 30% by harvest.
Outdoors, growers in the northern hemisphere should sow in April for harvest in mid-October. Healthy Feminized Wombat seeds produce about 21.16 to 24.69 oz per plant (600 to 700 g).
Indoors, the cycle runs 8 to 10 weeks with yields of about 1.97 to 2.29 oz/ft² (600 to 700 g/m²).
Ideal Climate
Wombat flourishes in a warm, temperate climate of long, hot summers and mild winters. For optimal growth the ideal range is 70 to 85 ℉ (21 to 29 ℃), which encourages vigorous growth and flowering. It prefers well-draining soil and adapts to a range of elevations, but does best at lower altitudes with ample sunlight. Regular watering, with humidity around 40 to 50%, supports healthy development and minimizes the risk of mold.
In the United States, states offering the right climate include California, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and Florida, with the warm temperatures and sunlight the strain needs. Growers in North Carolina, Texas and Georgia also benefit from suitable conditions, prime locations for Wombat. Choosing seeds well suited to your local climate lets you maximize yields and bring out the best characteristics in your plants.
What Does The Strain Smell Like?
The buds of Wombat are rock-hard, soaked in resin and often carry a crystalline sheen from the sheer amount of trichomes. On the palate it leans toward a rich, hashy funk with a sweet finish behind it.
Wombat makes for a smooth, soft smoke and a happy, easygoing experience. Thanks to its heavy resin production, it is also an ideal strain for high-quality extracts and concentrates that capture its hashy, sweet character.
Experiencing The Strain
With a Medium THC of 18% to 20%, Wombat brings a happy, relaxed and talkative state of body and mind. It is the perfect strain to unwind, leaving you cheerful and sociable.
It is ideal in the evening after a long day. A mostly sativa plant with a sturdy main stem that supports its satellite branches, it grows well indoors or outdoors, with a higher yield when it gets full outdoor sunshine.
Wombat seeds are a mostly sativa strain with a flowering period of 8 to 10 weeks. Feeding the right nutrients at each stage helps develop resinous buds and trichomes.
Wombat Strain Terpenes
Wombat carries a five-terpene profile that shapes both its hashy, sweet aroma and its happy, body-easing high, with four terpenes leading the way.
Myrcene heads the profile with a deep, earthy note that drives the hashy, resinous side of the aroma. It is widely associated with a relaxed, body-soothing feel, central to the calm behind the strain’s use for insomnia and muscle tension.
Caryophyllene adds a warm, peppery spice that sharpens the hashy base. It is the one terpene that interacts with the body’s CB2 receptors and is widely linked to calming, tension-easing properties, central to the relief Wombat is turned to for muscle spasms and low mood.
Linalool brings a soft, floral sweetness widely tied to a calming, stress-easing quality that quiets a restless mind. In this cultivar it reinforces the sweet side of the flavor and the settled finish behind its use for insomnia.
Terpinolene lifts the top of the aroma with a fresh, fruity-herbal sweetness. It is widely associated with an uplifting quality, a bright counterpoint that keeps the effect sociable and supports the strain’s use for low mood.
Rounding out the profile, P-Cymene adds a dry, woody, slightly spicy note that grounds the aroma and rounds off the hashy character.
