Lineage CBD Critical Mass (1:1) strain

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) is a mostly indica hybrid, 60% Indica / 40% Sativa, from crossing a high-CBD line with Critical Mass. It carries citrus, fruity and woody notes over a strong, mostly indica body feel. As a 1:1 strain it offers roughly equal CBD and THC (around 5% each), a great choice for anyone after a balanced, relaxing experience.

Origin

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) is a CBD-rich version of the famous, award-winning Critical Mass, known for its generous yields and potent effects. This 1:1 variant carries roughly equal amounts of THC and CBD, for a balanced experience that pairs therapeutic appeal with only mild psychoactivity.

It inherits genetics from Afghani and Skunk, making it highly resilient and adaptable, and it echoes the robust growth and dense buds of Big Bud. With stable genetics, CBD Critical Mass (1:1) seeds deliver consistent, reliable results.

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) Strain Awards

CBD Critical Mass took 1st Place, CBD at the Emerald Cup 2015, one of the most prestigious competitions recognizing excellence in cannabis genetics. That distinction highlights its strong CBD profile, consistent cannabinoid expression and overall flower quality under rigorous evaluation.

Winning the CBD category confirms it as a genetically stable, high-performance variety with reliable cultivation traits, strong resin production and refined terpenes, a benchmark strain within the CBD-focused segment of the market.

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) Sativa or Indica?

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) is an indica-dominant strain, 60% Indica / 40% Sativa, crossing the legendary Critical Mass with a high-CBD line. Its THC and CBD values sit at roughly 5% each. Its indica genetics give a sturdy structure with broad leaves and heavy, resinous buds.

As an indica-dominant strain, CBD Critical Mass (1:1) feminized seeds thrive in controlled environments. Its growth stays manageable in size while delivering strong results, perfect for anyone seeking deep physical relaxation and stress relief.

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) Effects

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) delivers a well-balanced experience thanks to its roughly equal CBD and THC. Germinating CBD Critical Mass (1:1)

It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.

Before removing ourĀ CBD Critical Mass (1:1)Ā seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.

Set Up Your Germination Station:Ā Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.

Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.

Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ĀŗF – 78.8 ĀŗF (21 ĀŗC – 26 ĀŗC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.

Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not useĀ alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil.

Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) Flowering Time

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) has a flowering time of 8 to 10 weeks, relatively quick to harvest. In that period its indica-dominant genetics form dense, resinous buds ideal for CBD extraction.

Growers can expect consistent, high-quality results, with a reliable flowering cycle that even beginners can manage. Its stable genetics and quick flowering make it a top choice for anyone after solid yields and balanced cannabinoid content.

How to grow CBD Critical Mass (1:1) ?

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions. The plants are compact, robust, hardy and moderately easy to grow, though it is always worth guarding against pests. A few methods help retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your buds:

  • Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
  • In our customers’ experience with CBD Critical Mass (1:1), good technique can increase yields by up to 20%.

For indoor cultivation, we advise wide, vertical spaces and the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform canopy and build up the lower flowers. Feed quality nutrients through the seedling, vegetative and flowering stages. Outdoors, choose a spot with the most direct sunlight; indoors, set up good tents, fabric pots, LED lighting, an air extractor and a carbon filter. Keep daytime temperatures between 68 and 80 ℉, and night temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day.

These plants prefer low humidity: 55 to 60% in the vegetative phase, around 40% in flowering, and down to 30% by harvest.

Outdoors in the northern hemisphere, sow in April for a harvest in mid-October. Indoors, the cycle runs 8 to 10 weeks with yields of about 1.47 oz/ft² (450 g/m²).

Ideal Climate for Growing

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) flourishes in a temperate climate of warm summers and mild winters. The ideal range is 70 to 80 ℉ (21 to 27 ā„ƒ). Consistent sunlight and well-draining soil are essential, as it does best in conditions free of excess moisture. It adapts to varied elevations, though staying closer to sea level noticeably enhances its yield and quality.

In the United States, well-suited states include California, Oregon, Colorado, Washington and Arizona, with the favorable conditions this strain needs. Nevada, Florida and Texas also offer the warm climate, though humidity and soil drainage need managing. The right environment is key to maximizing the benefits and flavors CBD Critical Mass (1:1) has to offer.

What does the strain smell like?

The buds of CBD Critical Mass (1:1) are rock-hard, soaked in resin and often carry a crystalline sheen from the sheer amount of trichomes.

On the palate it blends bright citrus with ripe fruit over a dry, woody base, a smooth, balanced profile. CBD Critical Mass (1:1) makes for a soft, easygoing smoke and a relaxing experience. Thanks to its heavy resin production, it is also an ideal strain for high-quality extracts and concentrates that capture its citrusy, fruity, woody profile.

Experiencing the strain

With a balanced 1:1 ratio of around 5% CBD and 5% THC, CBD Critical Mass (1:1) brings a happy, relaxed and talkative state of body and mind. It leaves you cheerful and at ease, settling into a comfortable body calm, perfect for the evening after a long day, with only mild psychoactivity.

It is a mostly indica plant with a sturdy main stem that supports its satellite branches. It grows well indoors or outdoors, with a higher yield when it gets full outdoor sunshine.

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) seeds are a mostly indica strain with a flowering period of 8 to 10 weeks. Feeding the right nutrients at each stage helps develop resinous, cannabinoid-rich buds.

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) terpenes

CBD Critical Mass (1:1) carries a six-terpene profile that shapes both its citrus-fruity, woody aroma and its balanced, relaxing effect, with four terpenes leading the way.

Limonene heads the profile, a bright, zesty citrus note that defines the strain’s citrus flavor and lifts the whole aroma. It is widely associated with an uplifting, mood-brightening quality, and here it adds the happy, sociable edge that balances the relaxing body feel.

Myrcene adds a ripe, fruity-earthy note with a soft sweetness that carries the fruity side of the flavor and gives the smoke its body. It is widely linked to a relaxing, muscle-softening quality, and here it drives the body calm behind the strain’s use for insomnia and everyday pain.

Caryophyllene brings a warm, peppery, woody spice that anchors the woody base. It is the one terpene that interacts with the body’s CB2 receptors and is widely tied to calming, anti-inflammatory properties, central here to the relief many seek for arthritis and joint tension.

Linalool rounds things off with a soft, floral sweetness, widely linked to a calming, stress-easing quality that quiets an overactive mind. It works alongside the Myrcene to deepen the relaxed finish and supports the strain’s use against insomnia.

Rounding out the profile, Alpha-Pinene and Beta-Pinene add crisp pine freshness that keeps the citrus bright and the woody base clean, completing the aroma.
