Lineage Shiskaberry Kush strain
Shiskaberry Kush is the cross of Afghani x DJ Short Blueberry, a mostly indica hybrid, 80% Indica / 20% Sativa. Expect a berry and earthy flavor with a strong, deeply relaxing indica character.
At a High THC of 21% to 26%, it is a great choice for anyone after a strong, relaxing experience.
Origin
The Shiskaberry Kush strain is a Blimburn Seeds creation rooted in the classic cannabis heritage of Amsterdam. The cross marries Afghani genetics with Blueberry, giving a strain with real depth of lineage, drawing on Afghan Kush, Hindu Kush, Afghani, Thai and Purple Thai for a robust genetic profile.
Its feminized seeds produce plants that blend traditional flavor with modern potency. The complex genetics bring a delightful mix of sweet, earthy and fruity notes, which keeps it a firm favorite among growers and enthusiasts alike.
Shiskaberry Kush Sativa or Indica?
Shiskaberry Kush is an indica-dominant strain, 80% Indica / 20% Sativa, known for its deeply relaxing and calming effect. Its indica-heavy genetics make it a natural choice for anyone seeking relief from stress, tension or insomnia, and it is perfect for evening use, delivering a full-body experience.
Growers can expect compact, resinous plants with classic indica traits: sturdy structures and dense buds that give high-quality harvests with minimal effort, indoors or outdoors.
Shiskaberry Kush Effects
Shiskaberry Kush delivers a euphoric, happy and relaxed effect, which makes it a popular pick for unwinding and stress relief. Its indica genetics bring a full-body calm, paired with a gentle mental euphoria that eases worries and settles the mind. Effects vary from person to person.
It also carries a distinctive terpene profile of earthy, berry and herbal notes. Those flavors complement the calming effect, giving a sensory and genuinely therapeutic experience that appeals to recreational and medical users alike.
Germinating Shiskaberry Kush seeds
It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.
Before removing ourĀ Shiskaberry KushĀ seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station:Ā Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil.
Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ĀŗF ā 78.8 ĀŗF (21 ĀŗC ā 26 ĀŗC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines.
Please do not useĀ alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.
Shiskaberry Kush Strain Flowering Time
Shiskaberry Kush has a flowering time of 8 to 10 weeks, a nice balance of speed and quality. That relatively short cycle still lets the plants build dense, resin-coated buds with exceptional potency.
Thanks to its robust indica genetics, it thrives in a range of environments. Its compact size and resilience suit both indoor setups and outdoor gardens, giving consistent yields of premium flowers with minimal maintenance.
How to grow Shiskaberry Kush strain?
Shiskaberry Kush feminized seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under good conditions to avoid problems during development. The plants are compact and robust, moderately easy to grow and hardy, though it always pays to stay ahead of pests.
You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your feminized Shiskaberry Kush buds.
- Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
- Our customersā experience with feminized Shiskaberry Kush seeds shows yields can rise by up to 20% with the right technique.
For indoor growing, Blimburn Seeds recommends wide, tall spaces and the ScrOG method to create a uniform canopy and boost the lower flowers. If you plan to grow feminized seeds outdoors, we have put together a grow guide for optimal cultivation anywhere in the world.
Give the plants good nutrients at every stage, as seedlings, through the vegetative period and into flowering.
When growing outdoors, pick the best date for your crop and a spot where the plants get the most hours of sunshine.
If you prefer to grow indoors, make sure you have good tents, textile pots, LED lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air and a solid carbon filter to keep smell from becoming a problem with neighbors or the law.
Keep daytime temperatures between 68ā-80ā and nighttime temperatures between 7ā-9ā cooler.
Feminized plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase, reduce it to around 40% during flowering, and bring it down to about 30% by harvest time.
Outdoors, growers in the northern hemisphere should sow in April for a harvest in mid October. Healthy feminized Shiskaberry Kush plants produce about 2.82 – 4.23 oz/plant | 80 – 120 gr/plant of buds each.
Indoors, these crops have a flowering time of 8 – 10 weeks and produce about 1.47 oz/ft2 | 450 gr/m2.
Ideal Climate for Growing
Shiskaberry Kush thrives in a temperate climate with warm summers and cool evenings. The optimal range is between 70ā80°F (21ā27°C), which supports robust growth and flowering and feeds into the strainās medium yield and flavorful profile. It also likes low humidity and plenty of sunlight to reach its full potential, and well-draining soil with regular irrigation keeps growth strong and wards off common problems like mold.
For U.S. growers, several states offer the right conditions. Notable ones include California, with its Mediterranean climate; Oregon and Washington, with their mild temperatures; and Nevada, Arizona and Colorado, known for sunny, dry conditions.
Other good options include Florida, where warmth and humidity combine well, and Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee, which also suit this strain. Grown in any of these, Shiskaberry Kush rewards you with a successful, satisfying harvest.
What does the strain smell like?
The buds are rock hard, soaked in resin and carry a crystalline sheen from the density of trichomes. On the nose and palate Shiskaberry Kush pairs a sweet, ripe berry note, inherited from its Blueberry roots, with a deep, earthy undertone from its Afghani side, a rich and grounded character that lingers on the exhale.
It makes for a soft, pleasant smoke, and its heavy resin production leaves the flowers sticky and frosted. That generous trichome coverage is a big part of what gives the strain its full, berry-and-earth aroma.
Experiencing the strain
Shiskaberry Kush is one of the standout indica-leaning hybrids in our catalog. At a High THC of 21% to 26%, it brings a happy, relaxed calm with a euphoric edge. Effects vary from person to person.
Its mostly indica character makes it a great evening companion, the kind of strain to reach for when you want to unwind after a long day while still feeling cheerful.
Structurally it grows mostly indica, with a strong central stem supporting its side branches. It performs well indoors and outdoors, with similar quality in both and a higher yield outdoors when it soaks up full hours of sunshine.
From germination to harvest it runs an 8 to 10 week flowering period. Feed it properly at every stage of the cycle to reward yourself with resinous, trichome-rich buds.

Shiskaberry Kush terpenes
Shiskaberry Kush carries a twelve-terpene profile behind its berry and earthy flavor and its euphoric, happy, relaxed effect, with four terpenes leading the way.
Linalool leads with a soft, floral note and a faint sweet-spicy edge that smooths the strain’s earthy base. It is widely associated with a soothing, calming quality. In Shiskaberry Kush it anchors the relaxed indica feel and underpins the relief many turn to for low mood and the tension of a demanding day.
Limonene brings a bright citrus lift that cuts through the earthiness and lightens the overall character. It is widely tied to a refreshing, mood-brightening quality. Here it adds the happy, euphoric edge that keeps the heavy indica body from feeling purely sedative, the lift many look for when energy runs low or spirits dip.
Nerolidol adds a warm, woody-floral note with a faint bark-and-citrus depth. It is widely associated with a settling, restful quality. In this strain it reinforces the deep, full-body calm at the heart of the experience and supports the comfort many seek in the evening.
Eugenol rounds out the lead with a warm, clove-like spice that deepens the earthy profile and gives it backbone. It is widely tied to a grounding, soothing quality long valued in traditional remedies. Here that spiced warmth supports the comfort many look for with stiff, aching joints.
Filling out the profile, Alpha-Cedrene and Fenchol lend cedar-woody and earthy-camphor depth, Terpineol and Borneol add soft floral and cool, minty calm, Camphene and Terpinolene bring fresh pine and herbal brightness, Citral echoes the citrus lift with a clean lemon note, and Phytol contributes a soft, green, settling touch.
