Germinating Green Poison seeds

It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique. Before removing our Green Poison seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.

Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.

Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.

Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.

Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.

Green Poison Flowering Time

Green Poison strain has a relatively short flowering time, typically ranging from 7 to 8 weeks. This period allows the plant to fully develop its dense, resinous buds and rich aroma. Growers appreciate the efficiency of this flowering period, as it offers a high quality yield in a shorter timeframe.

Furthermore, this strain is noted for its resilience and adaptability, making it a great option for cultivators of varying experience levels. Its strong resistance to common pests and diseases, combined with its short flowering time, ensures a smooth and successful cultivation process. Whether you’re a novice or an experienced grower, this strain promises a rewarding harvest with minimal challenges.

How to grow Green Poison strain?

Green Poison seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are compact and robust, moderately easy to grow and hardy, we should always prevent any pests.

You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Feminized Green Poison strain buds.

  • Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
  • Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Feminized Green Poison seeds, we know that we can increase yields up to 20%.

For optimal indoor cultivation, Blimburn Seeds advises wide, vertical spaces and the use of the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform plane and increase the size of the lower flowers. If you plan to grow our Feminized seeds outdoors, we have developed a grow guide for optimal cultivation in any area of the world.

Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients when our Feminized seeds are seedlings, in their vegetative period and finally in their flowering period.

When you grow cannabis seeds outdoors, choose the best date for your crop, a place where our cannabis plants receive the most hours of sunshine.

If on the other hand you like to grow your Feminized seeds indoors and you have good tents, textile pots for growing, led lighting, air extractor, to circulate clean air and of course a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law.

Keep daytime temperatures between 68℉-80℉ and nighttime temperatures between 7℉-9℉ cooler.

Feminized plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) levels at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase. Reduce RH to around 40% during the flowering phase. By harvest time, you can reduce RH to 30%.

Outdoors, breeders in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in April for harvest in mid October. Healthy Feminized Green Poison seeds produce about 21 – 28 oz/plant | 600 – 800 gr/plant of buds each.

Indoors, these crops have a flowering time of 7 – 8 weeks and produce about 1.64 – 2.14 oz/ft2 | 500 – 650 gr/m2.

If you plan to grow our feminized seeds outdoors, we have developed a germination grow guide for optimal cultivation in any area of the world.

Ideal Climate for Growing

The Green Poison strain flourishes in a warm and dry climate, making it perfect for cultivation in regions with long summers and mild winters. The ideal temperature range for growing Green Poison is between 70–80°F (21–27°C), as this promotes robust growth and maximum resin production. This strain is most successful at elevations below 1,500 feet, where it can enjoy consistent sunlight and well draining soil, essential for healthy root development.

In the United States, ideal states for cultivating Green Poison include California, Colorado, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and Florida. Each of these regions typically provides the warm temperatures and favorable growing seasons necessary for optimal yield and flavor. Growers should consider these states’ respective climates to ensure the best results when nurturing Green Poison feminized seeds, capitalizing on their unique genetics to produce high quality cannabis.

What does the strain smell like?

The buds of the Green Poison are rock hard, soaked in resin and carry a crystalline sheen from the heavy coat of trichomes. The taste can be described as a blend of Floral, Fruity, Skunk and Sweet notes.

Green Poison makes a smooth, soft smoke with a strong, relaxing experience. Thanks to its high resin production, it is a good choice for high-quality extracts and concentrates.

A good terpene profile enhances the flavors of the buds of cannabis plants. Terpenes are volatile organic compounds that are produced in the cannabis plant and have an effect on the aroma and flavor of the buds.

These terpenes act as a kind of energizer for the flavors of the buds, as they add a fresh, citrusy touch to the sweeter flavors found in the buds. On the other hand, terpenes also have an effect on the effect that cannabis produces when smoked, as some terpenes have sedative properties, while others can act as stimulants.

For this reason, it is important to know the different terpenes found in a given cannabis strain before smoking it, in order to get the most out of the flavors and effects they produce.

Experiencing the strain

Green Poison is a Medium-THC strain of 15 – 20% that brings a happy, calm and relaxed state. This mostly Indica strain is a great choice to relax and unwind, while keeping you happy and cheerful.

This strain is perfect to consume in the evening after a long day. It is a marijuana plant with mostly indica structure. A large stem that supports its satellite branches and that we can grow both indoors and outdoors, obtaining a similar production but with a higher yield when it is fed with all the hours of sunshine outdoors.

Our Green Poison seeds are a mostly indica strain that has a flowering period of 7 – 8 weeks. Remember that in each period of cultivation of our marijuana plant it is important to provide it with the corresponding nutrients to obtain resinous buds and trichomes.

Green Poison terpenes

Green Poison owes much of its sweet, floral-and-skunky aroma and its calm, sleepy character to three key terpenes, each adding a distinct scent and its own well-known wellness properties.

Myrcene carries the sweet, fruity skunk that defines Green Poison’s nose, over a soft, damp earthiness. The most common cannabis terpene, it is widely tied to relaxing, body-soothing effects that drive the heavy, sleepy calm of this 70% Indica.

Linalool adds a soft floral sweetness that lifts the skunky base. Long studied for its calming, sleep-supporting properties, it deepens the strain’s restful, evening-friendly effect.

Caryophyllene brings a peppery, skunky funk beneath the sweetness. Widely researched for its anti-inflammatory potential, it ties into the strain’s use for easing arthritis and physical tension.
