Hun Deok Lee is a multidisciplinary and self-taught artist who has worked in the skateboarding industry and is also a painter, experimental violinist, and screen printer. He grew up in Korea, absorbing the joy and mysticism of folk colors and ancestral symbolism from the Yi Dynasty. Since moving to Barcelona in 1982, his work has been influenced by Catalan Modernism, Pop culture, and comic elements, blending Korean iconography with the aesthetics of skateboarding. His unique style combines spirituality, Eastern symbolism, modernist influences, and the vibrant street culture, setting his work apart from other contemporary illustrators and street artists.
