Up in the Trees: recreates my first experience with nature as a child and critiques a society that is increasingly distancing itself from our ancestral origins, which had direct links to nature that are now fading into mere latent memories. My childhood in South Korea was surrounded by nature, enormous ancient trees, and old houses and temples. There, I absorbed the sensitivity and mysticism of folk colors, as well as the influence of ancestral symbols. After moving to Barcelona, I became immersed in Catalan Art Nouveau, transforming my art into a cultural remix. After creating this beautiful drawing, I decided to compose a song, giving my art its own soundtrack.
