Germinating Sour Tangie Seeds
It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique. Before removing our Sour Tangie seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 70-90ºF in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 7. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.

Optimal Climate for Cultivating
Sour Tangie requires a climate that provides ample sunlight, with an ideal range of temperatures between 70-85°F (21-29°C). These conditions are necessary to support optimal growth of the plant and to increase the potency of its flavorful buds. This Sativa dominant strain, a hybrid of East Coast Sour Diesel and Tangie, is highly suited for cultivation in airy, warm, and well lit environments. So, it grows well outdoors or in a greenhouse, where temperatures and lighting are naturally stabilized.
Cultivation of the Sour Tangie strain thrives most within U.S. states that offer a Mediterranean like, temperate climate. The best states where this strain can enjoy optimal growth include California, Nevada, and Florida in the sunshine belt, as theirs warmer, sunny climates are perfect for the strain. Other states that provide beneficial conditions are Texas, Arizona, and Georgia. Sour Tangie seeds succeed in these environments, combining optimal temperatures and ample sunlight to produce aromatic buds typical of their unique genetics. Thus, when considering where to plant Sour Tangie, these states offer the best conditions for horticultural success.
What does the Strain smell like?
The buds of Sour Tangie are rock hard, soaked in resin and carry a crystalline sheen from the heavy coat of trichomes. The taste can be described as a blend of Citrus, Diesel, Earthy and Woody notes.
Sour Tangie makes a smooth, soft smoke with a bright, energetic experience. Thanks to its high resin production, it is a good choice for high-quality extracts and concentrates.
A good terpene profile enhances the flavors of the buds of cannabis plants. Terpenes are volatile organic compounds that are produced in the cannabis plant and have an effect on the aroma and flavor of the buds.
These terpenes act as a kind of energizer for the flavors of the buds, as they add a fresh, citrusy touch to the sweeter flavors found in the buds. On the other hand, terpenes also have an effect on the effect that cannabis produces when smoked, as some terpenes have sedative properties, while others can act as stimulants.
For this reason, it is important to know the different terpenes found in a given cannabis strain before smoking it, in order to get the most out of the flavors and effects they produce.

Sour Tangie Strain Terpenes
Sour Tangie owes much of its citrusy, diesel and earthy-woody aroma and its energetic, euphoric character to three key terpenes, each adding a distinct scent and its own well-known wellness properties.
Terpinolene brings a bright, fresh citrus-and-fruit lift, the Tangie side of the aroma. Frequently linked to uplifting, energizing effects, it drives the euphoric, creative head high.
Caryophyllene adds the pungent diesel-and-fuel bite from the Sour Diesel lineage, over a woody base. Uniquely able to engage the body’s CB2 receptors, it is often linked to easing tension and physical discomfort.
Myrcene grounds the profile with a deep, earthy-musky depth. Widely tied to calming effects, it lends the gentle body relaxation that rounds off the energetic lift.
