Origin

The AK-47 Fast Version originates from Amsterdam’s prestigious seed banks, a faster-flowering take on the legendary AK 47 blended with ruderalis genetics for ultra-quick flowering.

Developed in 1992, AK 47 was inspired by landrace genetics from Colombian, Mexican, Afghan and Thai lines. Known for its award-winning profile, AK 47 Fast Version feminized seeds keep the potent character of the original while giving growers faster results without compromising quality.

Germinating AK 47 Fast Version seeds

It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.

Before removing our AK 47 Fast Version seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.

Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.

Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.

Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.

Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.

AK 47 Fast Version Flowering Time

AK 47 Fast Version has a flowering time of just 8 to 10 weeks, a favorite for growers aiming for quick yet high-quality harvests, with dense, resin-rich buds.

It adapts well indoors and outdoors, offering reliable yields and resilient growth. With its fast-flowering genetics and superior quality, AK 47 Fast Version is a go-to for cultivators after efficiency and potency.

How to grow AK 47 Fast Version strain?

AK 47 Fast Version seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions. The plants are compact, robust and moderately easy to grow, though it is always worth guarding against pests. A few methods help retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your buds:

• Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
• In our customers’ experience, good technique can increase yields by up to 20%.

Indoors, use wide, vertical space and the ScrOG method for a uniform canopy and larger lower flowers. If you prefer to grow outdoors, our grow guide covers optimal cultivation anywhere in the world. Feed proper nutrients through the seedling, vegetative and flowering stages, and indoors set up good tents, fabric pots, LED lighting, an air extractor and a carbon filter. Keep daytime temperatures between 68 and 80 ℉, and night temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day.

These plants prefer low humidity: 55 to 60% in the vegetative phase, around 40% in flowering, and down to 30% by harvest.

Outdoors in the northern hemisphere, sow in April for a mid-October harvest, at about 17.64 oz per plant (500 g). Indoors, the flowering time runs 8 to 10 weeks with yields of 1.31 to 1.64 oz/ft² (400 to 500 g/m²).

Ideal Conditions for Cultivating

AK 47 Fast Version grows best in a temperate climate of warm summers and slightly chilly autumns. The ideal temperature band is 68 to 78 ℉ (20 to 25 ℃), which provides optimal conditions for these seeds.

In the United States, strong options include California, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico and Florida, thanks to consistent sunlight and a temperate climate through the year. Known for its fast flowering and high yield, AK 47 Fast Version performs best under these conditions, which bring out the best of its genetics.

What does the AK 47 Fast Version smell like?

AK 47 Fast Version makes for a smooth, soft smoke with a happy, energetic character. Thanks to its heavy resin production, it is also an ideal strain for high-quality extracts and concentrates that capture its fruity, woody profile.

Experiencing the strain

With a Medium THC of 19% to 22%, AK 47 Fast Version brings a happy, focused and energized state that lifts the mood and sharpens concentration, leaving most users cheerful and motivated.

It is a true daytime strain, well suited to creative work, socializing and staying active. A mostly sativa plant with a sturdy main stem that supports its satellite branches, it grows well indoors or outdoors, with a higher yield when it gets full outdoor sunshine.

As a fast-flowering, mostly sativa strain, AK 47 Fast Version has a flowering period of 8 to 10 weeks, and feeding the right nutrients at each stage helps develop resinous buds and trichomes.

AK 47 Fast Version terpenes

AK 47 Fast Version pairs a fruity, woody aroma with an energetic, euphoric effect, built on a clean profile of six terpenes, led by four.

Limonene sits at the front of the profile, a bright, fruity-citrus note that lifts the aroma. It is the terpene most widely tied to an elevated, euphoric mood, and here it drives the upbeat, energizing character that makes AK 47 Fast Version a favorite for creative work and social settings, helping lift low spirits and mental heaviness.

Caryophyllene brings a warm, peppery, woody depth that grounds the flavor. As the terpene best known for easing inflammation and discomfort at the receptor level, it anchors the strain’s relief for arthritis and pain, lending a steadying body comfort beneath the cerebral lift.

Bisabolol adds a soft, floral, chamomile-like note widely associated with calm and anti-inflammatory, skin-soothing relief. It rounds out the body comfort and supports the strain’s value for aches and winding down, smoothing the overall experience.

Linalool contributes a gentle floral calm that quiets a racing mind and eases evening tension, working alongside Bisabolol to balance the sativa energy so the high stays uplifting rather than overwhelming, and supporting its use for restless nights.

Completing the profile, Alpha-Pinene and Beta-Pinene add a crisp pine freshness and a touch of mental clarity that keep the euphoria clean and focused, reinforcing the woody side of the aroma.
