Lineage Jack Herer CBD (1:1) strain

Jack Herer CBD (1:1) comes from crossing Jack Herer and CBD Therapy, producing a mostly Sativa strain (70% Sativa / 30% Indica). It tends to show an earthy, skunky flavor with a bright, sativa-leaning high. It carries a balanced 1:1 ratio, with Low CBD (6% – 8%) and Low THC (6% – 8%), making it a great choice for anyone looking for a happy, energizing experience with little intensity.

Origin

Jack Herer CBD (1:1) is a sativa-leaning hybrid built from premium genetics, combining the legendary Jack Herer with high-CBD genetics to produce a balanced 1:1 THC to CBD ratio. That strong lineage is what gives it both therapeutic value and a pleasant, easygoing experience.

Developed by top breeders committed to quality, the strain offers a reliable, consistent cultivation experience, which makes it a favorite among growers looking for a dependable, CBD-rich Jack Herer.

Jack Herer CBD (1:1) Sativa or Indica?

Jack Herer CBD (1:1) is a sativa-leaning strain (70% Sativa / 30% Indica) that pairs Sativa’s uplifting, energizing effects with a gentle indica relaxation. Backed by its high CBD content, that balance delivers mental clarity alongside a light physical calm.

The sativa side drives the cerebral high, promoting focus and creativity, while the indica genetics add a mild body relaxation that helps ease stress and tension. The result is a versatile strain that suits both recreational and therapeutic users, especially those who want the effects of Jack Herer with a softer, CBD-balanced edge.

Jack Herer CBD Effects

The effects of Jack Herer CBD (1:1) are well-balanced, an excellent choice for a range of therapeutic uses. Users often experience an uplifting, creative and energetic cerebral high, characteristic of its Sativa lineage, which makes it ideal for daytime use to boost mood and focus.

Alongside that lift, it offers a gentle, calming body relaxation from its indica side. The balanced 1:1 THC to CBD ratio helps ease stress, fatigue and muscle spasms without heavy sedation, so the combined mental and physical benefits make Jack Herer CBD highly desirable for a well-rounded, low-intensity experience.

Germinating Jack Herer CBD seeds

It is important to germinate your weed seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Feminized cannabis seeds, at Blimburn Seeds, we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique. Before removing our Jack Herer CBDĀ seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. Our hands are full of bacteria that can easily infect seeds and ruin our germination.

Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.

Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.

Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ĀŗF – 78.8 ĀŗF (21 ĀŗC – 26 ĀŗC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.

Record Keeping: To qualify for the three-month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.

Jack Herer CBD (1:1) Flowering Time

Jack Herer CBD (1:1) has a short flowering time, typically 6 to 8 weeks. That quick turnaround is a real bonus for growers seeking a timely harvest, and the plants still produce dense, resinous buds that reflect the strain’s high-quality genetics.

Growers appreciate these seeds for their reliable, efficient growth cycle. Their resilience and robust growth make cultivation straightforward whether indoors or outdoors, and the combination of a short flowering time and high yield potential makes Jack Herer CBD (1:1) a rewarding, efficient choice.

How to grow Jack Herer CBD seeds ?

Jack Herer CBD seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions, to avoid any problems during their development. Although they are moderately easy to grow and hardy, we should always prevent any pests.

You can use different growing methods to retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your Jack Herer CBD buds.

  • Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
  • Thanks to the experience of our customers with our Jack Herer CBD seeds, we know that we can increase yields up to 20%.

For optimal indoor cultivation, Blimburn Seeds advises wide, vertical spaces and the use of the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform canopy and increase the size of the lower flowers. If you plan to grow our CBD seeds outdoors, we have developed a grow guide for optimal cultivation in any area of the world.

Remember that our cannabis plants also need good nutrients as seedlings, in their vegetative period and finally in their flowering period.

When you grow outdoors, choose the best date for your crop and a place where the plants receive the most hours of sunshine. If you prefer to grow indoors, use good tents, textile pots, led lighting, an air extractor to circulate clean air and, of course, a good carbon filter to avoid problems with neighbors or the law. Keep daytime temperatures between 68-80 ℉ and nighttime temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day.

CBD plants need low humidity to thrive. Keep relative humidity (RH) at 55%-60% during the vegetative phase, reduce it to around 40% during flowering and to about 30% by harvest.

Outdoors, breeders in the northern hemisphere should sow their cannabis seeds in spring for harvest around September. Healthy Jack Herer CBD seeds produce about 15 – 19 oz/plant | 450 – 550 gr/plant of buds each. Indoors, these crops have a flowering time of 6 – 8 weeks and produce about 1.31 – 1.64 oz/ft² | 400 – 500 gr/m².

Ideal Climate for Growing

Jack Herer CBD (1:1) flourishes in a warm temperate climate with moderate temperatures and ample sunlight. The ideal range is 70-80 ℉ (21-27 ā„ƒ), and low humidity helps prevent mold and disease during flowering. Consistent sunlight is crucial for maximizing cannabinoid production and overall plant health.

In the United States, several states provide ideal conditions. California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada offer warm summers and mild winters that create an excellent environment, and states like Arizona, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Georgia and Tennessee also suit the strain well. With the right location and steady temperatures, growers can count on strong yields and high-quality harvests.

What does the strain smell like?

The buds of Jack Herer CBD are rock hard, soaked in resin and carry a crystalline sheen from the sheer amount of trichomes.

Its taste and flavor are a blend of earthy and skunky notes, with a penetrating aroma of fresh pine, black pepper spice and a background of incense-like haze. Jack Herer CBD makes a delicious, smooth smoke and delivers a happy experience with a good dose of energy. Thanks to its large resin production, it is an ideal strain for high quality extracts and concentrates.

Experiencing the strain

Jack Herer CBD (1:1) is a balanced, low-THC (6% – 8%), CBD-rich (6% – 8%) strain that brings a creative, energetic and uplifted state. This sativa-leaning marijuana lifts the mind into a bright, focused headspace while its CBD keeps everything smooth and clear-headed, so it can also help ease stress, fatigue and muscle tension.

It is a marijuana plant with a sativa-leaning structure: a large stem that supports its satellite branches, and it can be grown both indoors and outdoors, with a higher yield when it gets plenty of hours of sunshine outdoors.

Our Jack Herer CBD seeds are a mostly Sativa strain with a flowering period of 6 – 8 weeks. Remember to provide the right nutrients at each stage of cultivation to obtain resinous buds packed with trichomes.

CBD Jack Herer (1:1) terpenes

Jack Herer CBD (1:1) keeps the pungent, spicy character of its legendary parent: an earthy, skunky aroma with fresh pine, black pepper and a hint of incense haze. It carries a broad profile of ten terpenes, led by four dominant players that shape both that scent and its creative, energetic and uplifted effect.

Terpinolene leads with a fresh, piney, herbal brightness, the classic Jack Herer signature. Associated with an uplifting, clear-headed feel, it drives the creative, energetic lift that makes this such a lively daytime strain, even with its calming CBD.

Alpha-Pinene adds a crisp, resinous pine note tied to mental clarity and focus. It sharpens the head and reinforces the energizing, fatigue-fighting side of the profile.

Delta-3-Carene contributes a sweet, piney, earthy depth that grounds the aroma. Often linked to a dry, resinous character, it rounds out the skunky, forest-fresh base.

Eugenol brings a warm, clove-like, peppery spice. Tied to soothing, mildly numbing properties, it adds complexity and supports the strain’s use for muscle tension, complementing its CBD content.

A supporting cast of P-Cymene, Terpineol, Nerolidol, Trans-Nerolidol, Gamma-Terpinene and Alpha-Phellandrene adds citrus, floral, woody and spicy accents plus a calming, stress-easing edge, giving Jack Herer CBD an earthy, skunky, pine-and-pepper aroma paired with a creative, energetic and uplifted effect, kept smooth and low-intensity by its 1:1 CBD to THC ratio.

How To Grow Jack Herer CBD (1:1)

Read Now

A 1:1 ratio means this strain has been bred to produce an equal, balanced amount of CBD and THC (typically 6-8% of each). This creates a unique therapeutic effect known as the “entourage effect.” Instead of an intense psychoactive high, you’ll experience a highly functional, clear-headed, and gentle sense of creative energy and focus. The CBD works to eliminate anxiety and provides a soothing body calm, while the low dose of THC uplifts the mood. It’s the perfect strain for all-day medicinal use.

Expect a classic, vigorous Sativa-dominant structure. This is a medium-to-tall plant that will stretch significantly once flowering begins; it is not a compact plant. It grows with a beautiful, open “Christmas-tree” structure with long, elegant branches. This framework is excellent for promoting airflow and resisting mold, making it a very resilient plant in the garden.

Yes, it is an absolutely fantastic choice for beginners. The Jack Herer lineage is legendary for its resilience, vigor, and ease of growth. This strain is very forgiving of common mistakes, naturally resistant to pests and mold, and its Sativa-leaning structure is still very manageable with basic training. It reliably produces top-shelf medicinal cannabis, making it a very rewarding plant to cultivate.

While the 1:1 ratio is genetically determined, you can ensure the plant reaches its full medicinal potential by providing a stable, stress-free environment. The key is to allow the plant to fully mature. Do not harvest too early. Wait until the trichomes are all milky-white, as this is when cannabinoid production is at its peak. A slow, careful drying and curing process of at least four weeks will also preserve the delicate terpenes and cannabinoids, enhancing the overall therapeutic effect.
