Lineage Hindu Kush Regular Strain

Hindu Kush Regular is the original Hindu Kush landrace in regular form, an almost pure indica, 80% Indica / 20% Sativa. It carries citrus, fruity and orange notes over an earthy base, with a strong, deeply indica body high.

Regular seeds cannot be classified as feminized: they are the original seeds from nature, carrying both sexes, male and female. With a Medium THC of 15% to 19%, it is a great choice for anyone after a strong, relaxing experience.

Origin

Hindu Kush originates in the Hindu Kush mountain range, which stretches more than 500 miles between Pakistan and Afghanistan. That rugged terrain and harsh climate shaped the original landrace, prized for its hardiness and resistance to tough conditions.

European breeders recognized the potential of this resilient strain and refined it for broader cultivation. Many popular modern strains descend from Hindu Kush, inheriting its robust genetics and characteristic traits.

Notable descendants include OG Kush, Bubba Kush, Master Kush and Purple Kush, each showing the versatility and enduring appeal of Hindu Kush genetics.

Hindu Kush Regular Seeds Sativa or Indica?

Hindu Kush Regular is an almost pure indica, 80% Indica / 20% Sativa, from the mountainous region between Pakistan and Afghanistan. It is celebrated for its heavy, sedative character and stands as a cornerstone of indica genetics.

Its seeds are highly sought after by growers who want a strain with a rich history and potent, reliable results. That deep indica heritage brings a profoundly relaxing experience, an ideal choice for anyone seeking relief from stress and sleepless nights.

Hindu Kush Regular Effects

The effects of Hindu Kush Regular are profound and predominantly physical, the classic indica high. Expect a deep sense of relaxation and a soothing body calm that suits evening use, leaving you happy and gently settled. Many also turn to it for support with low mood, insomnia and muscle spasms.

Known for its earthy, sweet aroma and its way of easing you into a state of tranquil bliss, Hindu Kush Regular is a favorite for recreational and medicinal users alike. Effects vary from person to person.

Germinating Hindu Kush Regular Seeds

To ensure a successful start for your Hindu Kush Regular cannabis plants, it’s important to germinate the seeds with care. Blimburn Seeds advises a specific, straightforward germination technique for their Regular seeds to promote optimal growth from the outset.

Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.

Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.

Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 70-90ĀŗF in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 7. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.

Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.

Hindu Kush Regular Seeds Flowering Time

Hindu Kush Regular has a relatively short flowering time, typical of indicas, usually 8 to 10 weeks. That quick cycle makes it attractive for cultivators who want to harvest without a lengthy wait.

Its seeds produce sturdy, resilient plants well suited to both indoor and outdoor environments.

The genetics deliver a bountiful harvest of dense, resinous buds that capture the pure essence of its indica heritage, a timeless choice for anyone who appreciates the finer side of cannabis cultivation and consumption.

How To Grow Hindu Kush Regular Seeds?

Hindu Kush Regular seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions. The plants are compact, robust, hardy and moderately easy to grow, though it is always worth guarding against pests. A few methods help retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your buds:

  • Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
  • In our customers’ experience with Hindu Kush Regular, good technique can increase yields by up to 20%.

For indoor cultivation, we advise wide, vertical spaces and the ScrOG method to obtain a uniform canopy and build up the lower flowers. Feed quality nutrients through the seedling, vegetative and flowering stages. Outdoors, choose a spot with the most direct sunlight; indoors, set up good tents, fabric pots, LED lighting, an air extractor and a carbon filter. Keep daytime temperatures between 68 and 80 ℉, and night temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day.

Regular plants prefer low humidity: 55 to 60% in the vegetative phase, around 40% in flowering, and down to 30% by harvest.

Outdoors in the northern hemisphere, sow in April for a harvest in mid-October, at about 17.64 to 19.4 oz per plant (500 to 550 g). Indoors, the cycle runs 8 to 10 weeks with yields of 1.31 to 1.64 oz/ft² (400 to 500 g/m²).

Perfect Climates for Growing

Hindu Kush Regular flourishes in climates close to its native mountain range: hot summers and cold winters. A consistent 70 to 85 ℉ (20 to 29 ā„ƒ) is best for its growth, and it performs well at both lower and higher altitudes, staying compatible with a range of climates.

In the United States, well-suited states include California, Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico, with their hot, dry summers. It can also be grown in Colorado and Oregon thanks to their cold winters. In these places the strain’s genetics thrive and reach their best yield. Hindu Kush prefers drier conditions with less annual rainfall, so use well-draining soil to avoid root rot and maximize the harvest.

What Does The Strain Smell Like?

The buds of Hindu Kush Regular are rock-hard, soaked in resin and often carry a crystalline sheen from the sheer amount of trichomes. On the palate a bright citrus-and-orange zest sits over the deep, earthy, woody base that defines classic Kush genetics, with a soft fruity sweetness on the exhale.

Hindu Kush Regular makes for a smooth, soft smoke and a strong, relaxing experience. Thanks to its heavy resin production, it is also an ideal strain for high-quality extracts and concentrates that capture its citrusy, earthy profile.

Experiencing The Strain

With a Medium THC of 15% to 19%, Hindu Kush Regular brings a happy, deeply relaxed state of body and mind. It leaves you cheerful and at ease, settling into a heavy, comfortable body calm, perfect for the evening after a long day.

It is a mostly indica plant with a sturdy main stem that supports its satellite branches. It grows well indoors or outdoors, with a similar production and a higher yield when it gets full outdoor sunshine.

Hindu Kush Regular seeds are a mostly indica strain with a flowering period of 8 to 10 weeks. Feeding the right nutrients at each stage helps develop resinous buds and trichomes.

Hindu Kush Regular Terpenes

Hindu Kush Regular carries a broad twelve-terpene profile, bright citrus up top over a deep, earthy-woody base, that mirrors both its flavor and its heavy, relaxing indica high, with four terpenes leading the way.

Myrcene is the backbone of the profile, a ripe, earthy-musky note with a soft fruity sweetness that gives the smoke its weight. It is widely associated with a deeply relaxing, muscle-softening quality, and here it drives the heavy body calm and sits behind the strain’s use for muscle spasms and sleepless nights.

Caryophyllene adds a warm, peppery spice that deepens the earthy Kush base. It is the one terpene that interacts with the body’s CB2 receptors and is widely tied to calming, soothing properties. In this cultivar it is central to the relief many seek for muscle spasms and physical tension.

Citral brings the signature lift: a sharp, lemony-orange citrus note that defines the strain’s citrus and orange flavors and brightens the earthy backdrop. It is widely associated with a fresh, mood-lifting quality, and here it leans into the strain’s use for low spirits.

Humulene rounds out the base with a dry, earthy, hoppy, woody note that echoes the Caryophyllene. It is widely linked to soothing, anti-inflammatory qualities, reinforcing the body-easing character behind the strain’s use for spasms and aches.

Rounding out the profile, Alpha-Pinene adds crisp pine freshness, Borneol, Camphene and Fenchol cool, camphor-like and herbal touches, Alpha-Cedrene and Cadinene woody, cedar-like depth, Eugenol a warm clove spice, and Farnesene a soft green sweetness that complete the aroma.
