Lineage G13 Autoflower
G13 Autoflower is a mostly indica autoflowering hybrid, 90% Indica / 10% Sativa, born from crossing the Afghan classic G13 with a ruderalis line. It carries a fruity, herbal and sweet flavor over a strong indica body high.
Origin
G13 Autoflower originates from legendary American genetics, said to come from advanced breeding programs. It has earned a strong reputation for its potency, resilience and mysterious background, a favorite among experienced growers.
Thanks to its robust genetics, G13 Autoflower thrives in many growing conditions, indoors or outdoors. Its autoflowering nature makes for a hassle-free grow, an excellent choice for anyone after a reliable, high-quality harvest.
G13 Autoflower Seeds Sativa or Indica?
G13 Autoflower is a predominantly indica hybrid, 90% Indica / 10% Sativa. That strong indica dominance brings a relaxing, body-soothing effect, with just a mild cerebral uplift on top.
Its genetics give it a compact structure, ideal for discreet cultivation. The indica side delivers dense, resinous buds, while the small sativa influence adds a touch of mental clarity, for a well-rounded, relaxing experience.
G13 Autoflower Seeds Effects
G13 Autoflower is known for its deeply happy, relaxed and talkative effects. It starts with a gentle cerebral uplift, then eases into full-body relaxation, an excellent choice for unwinding after a long day.
Thanks to its strong genetics, the strain is often sought out for its calming character, and many turn to it for support with joint discomfort, restless nights and everyday aches. G13 Autoflower produces dense buds rich in cannabinoids and terpenes, enhancing both the aroma and the potency of the final product. Effects vary from person to person.
Germinating G13 Autoflower
It is important to germinate your G13 Autoflower seeds carefully if you want to have a healthy harvest from day one. Although there are several methods to germinate our Autoflower cannabis seeds, from Blimburn Seeds we recommend our customers to follow our easy and simple technique.
Before removing our G13 Auto seeds from their packaging, remember that cannabis seeds are alive and delicate. The PH of our hands full of bacteria can easily infect them and ruin our germination.
Set Up Your Germination Station: Begin by moistening two paper towels with room temperature water. Lay one paper towel on a plate and spread the seeds on it, spacing them about 2 cm apart. Place the second paper towel on top of the seeds, and make sure to remove any excess water from the plate. Cover the setup with another opaque plate and store it in a warm, dark location.
Monitoring: Make sure paper towels are still moist by checking every 4-6 hours and spraying room temperature water. Typically, germination should occur within 24 to 120 hours. Once the seeds have sprouted tap roots, plant them with the roots facing down and cover with about 2 cm of soil. Remember to water the soil regularly by spraying to keep it moist. It may take up to two weeks for the plants to start growing.
Ideal Conditions: Maintain a consistent temperature of 69.8 ºF – 78.8 ºF (21 ºC – 26 ºC) in the germination area. Use purified room temperature bottled water with a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Keep the seeds away from light, allowing exposure for less than 1 minute before and during germination. Avoid touching the seeds or applying pressure to them.
Record Keeping: To qualify for the three month germination guarantee, it is necessary to follow all the steps outlined in our germination guidelines. Please do not use alternative germination methods, such as using a water bottle or planting directly into soil. Document the germination process through photography or video, as it will be requested when assessing claims for replacement products.
G13 Autoflower Seeds Flowering Time
G13 Autoflower has a fast cycle, typically 8 to 10 weeks from seed to harvest. That efficiency lets growers fit several harvests into a single season.
Thanks to its resilient genetics, the strain thrives in many environments, producing consistent yields of resin-coated buds. Indoors or outdoors, proper care and optimal conditions maximize both potency and overall plant health.
How to Grow G13 Autoflower Seeds?
G13 Autoflower seeds can be grown indoors or outdoors under optimal conditions. The plants are compact, robust and moderately easy to grow, though it is always worth guarding against pests. A few methods help retain and enhance the terpenes and flavors of your buds:
- Use a quality substrate. Perlite, peat or coco coir are ideal for moisture retention.
- In our customers’ experience, good technique can increase yields by up to 20%.
As an autoflowering strain, it switches to flowering on its own, without a change in the light schedule, which makes it forgiving for newer growers. It will grow under as few as 12 hours of light, but an 18/6 or 20/4 cycle gives the best yields. Feed quality nutrients through the seedling, vegetative and flowering stages. Outdoors, choose a spot with the most direct sunlight; indoors, set up good tents, fabric pots, LED lighting, an air extractor and a carbon filter.
Keep daytime temperatures between 68 and 80 ℉, and night temperatures 7 to 9 ℉ cooler than the day. These plants prefer low humidity: 55 to 60% in the vegetative phase, around 40% in flowering, and down to 30% by harvest.
Outdoors in the northern hemisphere, sow in April for a first harvest in mid-summer and a second between July and mid-October, at about 26.46 oz per plant (750 g). Indoors, the cycle runs 8 to 10 weeks with yields of 1.47 to 1.64 oz/ft² (450 to 500 g/m²).
Ideal Climate for Cultivating
G13 Autoflower flourishes in a temperate or warm continental climate with hot summers and moderate winters. The ideal cultivation temperature is 70 to 85 ℉ (21 to 29 ℃), which keeps the plant growing steadily while preserving its genetic qualities.
It handles altitudes from sea level up to 2,000 meters, though lower altitudes with consistent sunlight give the best results. The ideal environment also includes annual rainfall of 15 to 30 inches (380 to 760 mm) and well-draining soil to prevent root rot.
In the United States, these conditions are found in states such as California, Texas, Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Oregon. These regions offer the climate G13 Autoflower needs to yield well and express its unique genetics, a strain well worth adding to the garden there.
What does the Strain Smell Like?
The buds of G13 Autoflower are rock-hard, soaked in resin and often carry a crystalline sheen from the sheer amount of trichomes. On the palate it blends sweet, fruity notes with a herbal, slightly woody depth, the classic resinous character of its Afghan G13 roots.
G13 Autoflower makes for a smooth, soft smoke and a strong, relaxing experience. Thanks to its heavy resin production, it is also an ideal strain for high-quality extracts and concentrates that capture its sweet, herbal profile.
Experiencing the Strain
With a THC of 22% to 24%, G13 Autoflower brings a happy, deeply relaxed state. This mostly indica marijuana calms the body and lifts the mood, leaving you cheerful and at ease.
It is best enjoyed in the evening to unwind after a long day. A mostly indica plant with a sturdy main stem that supports its satellite branches, it grows well indoors or outdoors, with a higher yield when it gets full outdoor sunshine.

Cannabis Terpenes G13 Autoflower
G13 Autoflower has a short, two-terpene profile, and both lean the experience toward its calm, relaxing character while shaping the herbal side of its aroma.
Borneol brings a cool, camphor-like note with a woody-herbal edge that carries much of the strain’s herbal flavor. It has long been associated with soothing, calming qualities, which ties into G13’s heavy indica body feel and its use for restless, sleepless nights.
Terpineol adds a soft, lilac-like floral note with a gentle sweetness that rounds out the aroma. It is commonly linked to relaxing, sedative effects, reinforcing the strain’s deeply soothing character and its reputation for easing tension and aches.
Between them, Borneol and Terpineol set a calm, herbal-sweet tone, while the fruity, sugary notes in the flavor come largely from the strain’s own Afghan G13 genetics rather than from the terpenes.
